Paul "old-man" Wilson is nearly twice the age of the other players, so should have lots of patience. Unfortunately after a drink or two, he gets bored easily and will heavily bet on any hand remotely interesting. Favourite hand is a pair of Kings. |

McD was raised by nuns after being abandoned by wolves at the age of 27. Today he lives the life of a hobo, except with a job and a home. McD's playing style is best described as 'Avante Guarde / Cavalier' and his favourite hand is a pair of nines. |

Jim " The Haddock" Hargrave
Drinks like a fish and is better when he's smoked !
Has played cards since the early age of 5 but "Happy Families" and "Pontoon" with buttons instead of cash has not exactly provided a wealth of experience.
Is trying to carefully iron out his tells, the main one is dancing in his chair while humming - surely no-one notices...
Can be quite erratic but this adds to his varied style of play. Refuses to be first out. Favourite Hand: King Kong.
Favourite chip trick: finger flip.
Home ground: The Jimaggio, Thurton

Duncan "bully" Samwell - aka "Mr Grimsdale" Shunning the bright lights and the glamour of the casinos of Welwyn Garden City, Duncan cut his gambling teeth by playing jacks and shooting craps in the seedy alleys of downtown Hatfield. He soon progressed to games of hold'em that more resembled back street brawls than poker games. After numerous bad beats and bad calls, Duncan took to finding solace in the bottom of bottles with the down and outs and the lushes in the skid row gin houses of Stevenage. During one particular bender, a fuddled and soaked Duncan stumbled upon ancient slapstick comedian and little known poker guru, Norman Wisdom. Wisdom taught Duncan the arts of bullying the limpers and the fishies pre-flop and also gave him the courage to fold his favoured "pair of queens" when K's or bullets appear on the deck. But more significant than this, he passed on Mr Grimsdale's legendary lucky hat (hat in photo may differ from actual 'lucky hat'). To this day, Duncan regularly sports the headpiece but is still reluctant to part with his beloved "Brighton Boys". He talks a good game but rarely plays one. Favoured hand: 2 Queens. Favourite chip trick: "thumb lift" into "the pivot" combo

David "patience" Wilson plays poker with control and guile. He quite often waits for the right hand to play meaning he plays few hands but is often involved in the later rounds. Does he only play when he has a good hand? You have to pay to find out. He is often unlucky with a pair of kings whenall-in but hopes law of averages means he wins more than he loses. |

Matt "all-in" Wilson. In the past Matt has played poker for enjoyment instead of winnings. He has a habit of going out earlier than most. His style can sometimes prove difficult to read and his opponents get nervous calling, just in case he's not bluffing this time! |
